About Us

Black Diamond has three related entities. Black Diamond Development LLP engages in the acquisition, development and sale of speculative residential properties throughout Houston's prominent neighborhoods. Black Diamond Builders LLP is the entity that performs all the construction related activities for both its speculative and custom homes. Black Diamond Properties performs all brokerage activities on property and homes purchased or sold by Black Diamond and its clients.

The Black Diamond Companies are managed by principals: Bonner Ball and Tom Zenner.

Mrs. Ball is a native Houstonian and has been building and remodeling high-end homes since 1990. Formerly, she managed the real estate division for an international bank. She currently holds a Texas real estate license and a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from the University of Texas. At Black Diamond her primary responsibilities are construction and client interface and brokerage activities.

Mr. Zenner also a native Houstonian; joined Black Diamond in early 2002. Prior to then, he served as a CFO for a local energy company. Mr. Zenner holds an MBA in finance from Rice University and a bachelor's degree in business from Georgetown University. At Black Diamond his primary responsibilities are finance, operations and contracting.
